I. Jack Aaron Q.C.
Senior Counsel (Retired)
is a senior litigator with extensive experience, particularly in family law, both in Canada and South Africa. Jack did a post-graduate law degree at Oxford University, after completing undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, where he practised as a barrister for 17 years. He began to practise family law in Vancouver in 1982. Jack has retired from the active practice of law, but remains involved with Aaron Gordon Daykin Nordlinger in a consultative capacity.

George W. Gordon ![]()

was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1981 and to the Bar of British Columbia in 1985. He was educated at Queen's University and at McGill. George has specialized in family law since being called to the Bar, with a particular emphasis on custody and access matters. George has written chapters in practice manuals for matrimonial lawyers and articles for the Continuing Legal Education Society, and has lectured at and conducted CLE courses and spoken at conferences for judges and masters. George is a past co-chair of the Family Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association British Columbia.

was educated at UBC and the University of Toronto, and was called to the Bar in 1985. Trained in all areas of commercial litigation, his practice has been focused for many years on family law matters, primarily involving the division of property, corporate and tax issues, and child and spousal support. Paul is the author of numerous publications and articles on financial issues arising in the family law context. He has been a frequent lecturer on family law matters at the Professional Legal Training Course and is a regular speaker at Continuing Legal Education Society family law courses, trial advocacy seminars and the Inns of Court project.

is an arbitrator and mediator and has been engaged in the practice of family law since 1975, and as a neutral in labour arbitration since 1995. Karen has extensive experience in complex property division and disputes about support, custody and access. She is a former Bencher and Treasurer (President) of the Law Society of British Columbia. Karen is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the Canadian Bar Association's Family Law Section.

Stacey S. Silber ![]()

was educated at the University of Toronto, where she obtained her BComm, and UBC, where she obtained her LLB. Stacey was called to the Bar in 1992, after which she practised in the areas of civil, commercial and family litigation. Stacey's current practice is exclusively focused on family law. Stacey has written for the Continuing Legal Education Society's Family Practice Manual and Family Law Sourcebook, and has presented lectures on family law topics for CLE.

has practised family law exclusively since being called to the Bar in 2000. John-Paul serves on the editorial board of CLE's Family Practice Manual, the Provincial Court's Family Law Rules Committee and the Attorney General's Family Law Act Advisory Group, and is a fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. John-Paul is a prolific writer and frequent speaker on family law topics, and has presented to the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association British Columbia, the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, the Law Society's legal training course, CLE, the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the National Judicial Institute. His other written work has appeared in The Lawyers' Weekly, BarTalk, The Family Way, Canadian Family Law Matters, The Advocate and the UBC Law Review. He is the author of "Obtaining Reliable and Repeatable SSAG Calculations", published by the Department of Justice. John-Paul is a recipient of the CBA's National Pro Bono Service Award, the UBC Law Alumni Association's Outstanding Young Alumnus Award and the CBABC's Harry Rankin, QC Pro Bono Award. received her law degree from UBC in 2001. She articled at Davis & Company in Vancouver and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2002, at which time she commenced practicing family law with the family law boutique firm, Karen F. Nordlinger & Associates. She has been with Aaron Gordon Daykin Nordlinger since 2010. Anne has written and presented papers on child and spousal support issues for the Continuing Legal Education Society; she has argued cases at the British Columbia Provincial Court and Supreme Court, as well as the Court of Appeal. Anne has attended numerous family law mediations as counsel and has acted as mediator as well. Anne is a member of the Collaborative Divorce group in Vancouver and is keen to expand her collaborative divorce practice.

Annie C. Kaderly ![]()

received her BA from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2001. She was awarded the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia Scholarship, and received her LLB from Dalhousie University in 2005. Annie was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2006 and practices exclusively in the area of family law. She has conducted trials in the British Columbia Provincial Court and Supreme Court and appeared before the Court of Appeal. She has been an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association British Columbia (Vancouver) Family Law Subsection since 2007, serving as secretary, legislative liaison and treasurer; Annie is currently the subsection's co-chair. Annie has presented at several Continuing Legal Education programs incuding the 2010 Family Law Boot Camp. She is a contributing author to publications including the CLE’s BC Family Practice Manual and Desk Order Divorce: An Annotated Guide. Annie is the family law coordinator for the Access Pro Bono Society of British Columbia.

Amy practiced tax law at Thorsteinssons LLP until she joined Karen F. Nordlinger & Associates in January 2009. Amy now practices exclusively in the area of family law and has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia. Amy is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's Vancouver Family Law subsection. Amy is presently away from the office on leave.

joined Aaron Gordon Daykin Nordlinger in 2011. Clara received her BA from Simon Fraser University in 2005, majoring in English. She attended law school at the University of Alberta and obtained her LLB in 2009. After completing her articling year in Calgary, she was called to the Alberta bar in 2010. In 2011, she was called to the BC bar and she now practices exclusively in the area of family law. Clara is a member of the Family Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association British Columbia, and she has a special interest in assisted reproduction issues.
